AISLELABS PRIVACY POLICY



This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains Aislelabs’s information collection, use and disclosure practices for the Aislelabs Connect Product (the Platform). Specifically, this Policy outlines the types of information that Aislelabs gathers about you while you are using the Platform, and the ways in which Aislelabs uses and shares this information. As used herein, the words “user,” “you” and “your” mean users of the Platform and the words “we,” “us" and "our" mean Aislelabs.

Because the Platform is an evolving medium, this Policy may be updated from time-to-time, in which case we will post the revised Policy on the Platform and update the "Last Updated" date to reflect the date of the changes.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

You must provide PII in order to use, or participate in, certain features of the Platform.

Our platform may collect information including PII from your social profiles, including from Facebook, Twitter, Google, LinkedIn, Instagram and others, which may include your name, email address, gender, date of birth, interests, page likes and cities of residence. In addition, other self-disclosed information, such as postal code and survey questions, may be collected from your use of the platform.

Location Information

Our Platform relies on WiFi technology that may communicate with your device and identify its location if your device is Wi-Fi enabled and you have these radio(s) on. If you use the Platform to access the internet you agree to the terms of use of the WiFi of the site you connected from. We may use the location and Wi-Fi information gathered to generate reports, such as foot traffic which we may share with retailers and third parties to improve the consumer experience. We may also use this information to communicate with you for marketing purposes.

The collected information, including the MAC address and the PII, may be used together, and by using the platform you provide us the permission to store and access your PII, link it with other data collected by the platform, and to use this information in accordance with the terms and conditions set for the use of the platform.

Retention of Information

Any information we collect may be retained for a period of time as per internal use policies, and in no event shall the retention period exceeds 6 years.

Opt-Out and Data Deletion

You may request for your data to be deleted and to opt out of future data collection. This can be done so by requesting as such via email to [email protected]

Confidentiality and Security

Aislelabs is committed to protecting the security of the information collected from users of the Platform and has implemented generally accepted standards of technology security in order to protect information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. It is not possible, however, to guarantee the security or integrity of such information, particularly when transmitted through the Internet. We urge you to take every precaution to protect your PII when you are on the Internet. Because no physical or electronic security is impenetrable, by using the Platform, you agree to assume all risk in connection with the security and integrity of that information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

All versions of the Policy are dated with the effective date of that version of the Policy (i.e., the date on which the applicable version of the Policy was posted to the Platform). Aislelabs use of information it learns about you will be governed by the most recent Policy in effect. Your use of the Platform signifies your assent to the most recent Policy in effect.

Disclosures to Third Party Providers

Aislelabs may share with its contractors, customers, consultants, vendors, service providers or business partners PII for the purpose of operating the Platform or providing you with a feature or service via the Platform. Aislelabs and/or Third parties may use PII and include you as part of their own marketing campaigns as well as communicate with you via email, social channels, digital messages, or SMS.

Disclosures Required By Law or to Protect Interests

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose information, including, without limitation, PII, as required by law, rule or regulation, and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, request by a governmental or law enforcement authority or other legal process. We may also disclose such information to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property or the rights or property of anyone else. This disclosure may include to report any suspected illegal activity to law enforcement for investigation or prosecution and/or in connection with legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) rights of Aislelabs and/or the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to release information concerning any user of the Platform when that user is in violation of our terms of use or other published guidelines or partakes (or is reasonably suspected of partaking) in any illegal activity.
