Aislelabs vs Purple: WiFi Analytics and Marketing

Aislelabs vs Purple

See every visitor, not just the ones who sign in.

Aislelabs tells you how many people visit, how long they stay, who they are and how to bring them back, from the WiFi you already have.

Purple is a capable guest WiFi platform, and Aislelabs Connect covers the same connected guest reporting. Aislelabs Flow then measures everyone who walks in, and Aislelabs Marketing acts on it.

02 The difference that matters

Guest WiFi analytics measures sign ins. Flow measures everyone who walks in.

Purple derives its footfall from WiFi connections, so the figure reflects guests who signed in rather than everyone who came through the door.

Then the guest WiFi marketing side takes over

Aislelabs Connect reports sign ins, sessions and repeat connections, the same connected guest layer Purple is built around, and turns each sign in into a named, consented contact with unlimited capture fields. Aislelabs Marketing then sends visit triggered email and SMS and reports which campaigns brought people back. Because all three products share one visitor identity, you also see what share of your total footfall the portal is converting.

From a visitor walking in to a visitor coming back

05 Frequently asked

Aislelabs vs Purple: common questions

Does Aislelabs only count people who connect to the WiFi?

No. Aislelabs Flow uses a venue's existing access points as passive sensors and detects devices whether or not anyone signs in, so footfall, dwell, heatmaps and live occupancy cover everyone who walks in. Aislelabs Flow measures detectable devices rather than every person present. Aislelabs Connect reports separately on guests who did sign in.

How does Purple measure footfall?

Purple derives footfall from WiFi connections, as part of its guest WiFi plans. Visitors who never open the captive portal do not appear in the figure.

Does Aislelabs do WiFi marketing as well as WiFi analytics?

Yes. Aislelabs Connect is a branded guest WiFi portal with unlimited capture fields, multi language splash pages, native surveys and sponsorship placements including video and audio ads. Aislelabs Marketing sends visit triggered email and SMS from that data, with campaign monitoring and reporting attributed to return visits.

How is Aislelabs priced?

Aislelabs is quote based. Price depends on venue type, access point count, number of locations, the modules required, integrations and support needs. Flow, Connect and Marketing can be bought individually or as the Growth, Insight and Platform Suite bundles. There is no hardware cost, since Flow runs on the access points a venue already owns.
