Aislelabs vs MyWiFi Networks

Their numbers start at the login screen. Ours start at the front door.

Aislelabs offers WiFi analytics and guest WiFi marketing as separate products, so you learn how many people visit, how long they stay, who they are and how to bring them back, from the WiFi you already have.

Aislelabs Connect covers the captive portal and the guest WiFi marketing MyWiFi is built around. Aislelabs Flow then measures the rest of the venue, including everyone who walked straight past the login screen.

02 The difference that matters

Who ends up in your guest WiFi numbers?

With a captive portal alone, a visitor has to tap Connect and finish the login before they exist in any report. Miss that step and they are invisible, which is why MyWiFi dwell time is really a session length and its heat map only shows the guests who signed in. Aislelabs Flow works from the WiFi equipment you already own and picks up phones in range, so the people who never touched the captive portal still get counted.

Then Aislelabs Connect and the WiFi marketing take over

Aislelabs Connect is a branded guest WiFi captive portal, and it does the WiFi marketing groundwork: sign ins, sessions and repeat connections, with every sign in becoming a named, consented contact and unlimited capture fields. Aislelabs Marketing then runs the campaigns on that guest data, sending visit triggered email and SMS and reporting which ones brought people back, attributed to a return visit rather than an open rate.

05 Frequently asked

Aislelabs vs MyWiFi Networks: common questions

How is MyWiFi Networks analytics different from Aislelabs Flow?

MyWiFi Networks is a white label captive portal, and it counts a visitor only once they have logged in to the guest WiFi. Anyone who walks past the login screen, or never opens it, is not in the numbers. That is why their dwell time is really how long a guest stayed logged in, and their heat map shows only the guests who signed in. Aislelabs Flow works from the WiFi equipment a venue already owns and picks up phones as they come into range, so footfall, dwell time, movement between areas and occupancy cover everyone, not just the people who signed in at the captive portal.

Is Aislelabs a good alternative to MyWiFi Networks?

Yes. Aislelabs Connect is a guest WiFi captive portal that reports sign ins, sessions, repeat connections and portal conversion, which is the layer MyWiFi Networks is built around, so nothing is lost on captive portal or WiFi marketing. Aislelabs Marketing runs the WiFi marketing campaigns off that guest data. Aislelabs Flow then adds what MyWiFi cannot report at all: footfall, dwell time, movement between areas and occupancy for everyone who walks in, not only the guests who logged in. Getting started is straightforward either way, because Flow and Connect run on the access points a venue already owns with no new hardware, and the three products are sold individually, so a venue can begin with one and add the others when it needs them.

Does Aislelabs work with MSPs, resellers and partners?

Yes, either way. A venue can buy Aislelabs directly, or through an MSP, VAR or telco partner, and white labelling is available for telecommunications partners. Technical support for the analytics products comes from Aislelabs in both cases. MyWiFi Networks sells wholesale to resellers only, so the venue contracts with the reseller and the reseller is first line for support.

How is Aislelabs priced?

Aislelabs is quote based. Price depends on venue type, access point count, number of locations, the modules required, integrations and support needs. Flow, Connect and Marketing can be bought individually or as the Growth, Insight and Platform Suite bundles. There is no hardware cost, since Flow runs on the access points a venue already owns.
