Aislelabs takes a step toward ISO 27001 certification as our information security programs have been successfully audited by a third party.
Aislelabs has always been a forward thinking, security minded company that has done the utmost to take every effort to secure our and our clients’ data. We have always followed and exceeded the industry standards to safeguard data for our customers.
Our data centres are already ISO 27001 certified and, over the past few months, we have taken the steps to officially certify our company and its existing security practices meet or exceed that of industry standards. We are pleased to announce we have been given a recommendation for ISO 27001 after being audited across 114 controls in 14 groups and 35 control categories of business practices ranging from information security to cryptography.
Aislelabs is pleased to announce that there wasn’t a single non-conformity with regards to our current practices across the control groups. Our clients can be further assured that the data they entrust Aislelabs with is more safe and secure than ever.
The recommendation for ISO 27001 comes from SAI Global who have reviewed our security and confirmed it meets the standard’s requirements for establishing, implementing, and maintaining an information security management system (ISMS). Based in Chicago, SAI Global offers risk management services, quality assurance, audit and certification for businesses.
We invited SAI Global as a trusted third party auditor to examine, review, and verify our IT security program conforms to international standards, successfully completing both stages of the process. Aislelabs is the only provider of marketing and location analytics to be recommended for this certification, further demonstrating Aislelabs’ leadership in the space as we forge ahead. The ISO audit is a slow, deliberate process that requires several controls in planning, measuring, and analyzing the best practices and impact of the certification.
Originally published by the United Kingdom Government’s Department of Trade and Industry in the mid-nineties, ISO/IEC 27001 is now the gold standard certificate that is implemented and accepted worldwide. It certifies that any organization awarded with it meets the criteria in three key areas:
- Confidentiality: Precautions have been taken to protect the confidentiality of the data collected by the company or organization.
- Integrity: The data collected will not be modified or distorted to misrepresent the information contained within.
- Availability: The company or organization has taken steps to minimize, eliminate, or has contingencies to deal with downtime.
