Two jobs tend to take longer than they should for venue teams: building a branded splash page, and getting the guest data it captures into the tools your marketing team already uses. The first usually means a round of design work for every new venue or campaign. The second often means exports, imports, or a custom integration someone has to maintain.
The October release takes on both. You can now describe the captive portal you want and get an editable draft to work from, and Aislelabs Connect can sync captured guest data straight into HubSpot. This release also adds a faster WhatsApp sign-in option for guests, portals that open in each guest’s language automatically, a new way to compare traffic across reporting periods in Flow AI, clearer access-point monitoring, and a path to bring Legacy Flow history into Flow AI.
In This Release
- Aislelabs Connect: AI-generated splash pages, HubSpot guest data sync, WhatsApp sign-in, and automatic portal language detection
- Flow AI: period-over-period comparison, an In-Use Sensors table, a Sensor Health floor map, and Legacy Flow history backfill
New: Generate Captive Portal Splash Pages With AI
Aislelabs Connect can now generate an editable captive portal splash page from a description of the page you want and your brand requirements. Instead of starting from a blank template, you describe what the page should do and how it should look, and Aislelabs builds a first draft for you to work from.
The draft opens in the Portal Editor, the same place you already manage your portal. From there you can review the design, make adjustments, and preview the guest experience before anything goes live. Nothing is published until you publish it, so the AI handles the first pass and your team keeps the final say.
This cuts down the manual design work behind a new splash page and makes it easier to keep pages consistent with your brand, whether you’re launching a new venue, refreshing a seasonal campaign, or rolling out a new look across several locations. The more specific your description, the closer the first draft will be to what you have in mind, so it’s worth including your brand colors, the tone you want, and what you’d like guests to do on the page.
You can read more about what the portal itself supports on our captive portal feature page.

New: Connect Guest Data Directly to HubSpot
Aislelabs Connect now syncs captured guest data directly to HubSpot, with no custom integration required. Last month we added the same capability for Salesforce, and HubSpot teams now get the same direct path from the Wi-Fi portal to their CRM.
Setup is an authorization step rather than a development project. A Connect administrator connects your HubSpot account to Aislelabs, and from then on a daily, one-way sync sends fields for each captured guest: email address, name, and phone number. Marketing consent is recorded through HubSpot subscriptions, so the opt-in a guest gives at the portal carries into HubSpot alongside their contact record.
To keep your database clean, existing HubSpot contacts are matched on email address or phone number, which helps prevent unnecessary duplicate records when a returning guest connects again.
You can manage the connection without leaving Aislelabs. Administrators can see the connection status, check when the last successful sync ran, reauthorize the connection, or disconnect it entirely. Because the sync is one-way, data flows from Aislelabs into HubSpot, not back the other way.
See our software integrations page for the other CRM and marketing tools Aislelabs connects with.
New: Let Guests Sign In to Wi-Fi With WhatsApp
Guests can now connect to your Wi-Fi by signing in with WhatsApp, without typing a verification code. After the portal opens in their browser, a guest selects Sign in with WhatsApp and sends a pre-filled message. The portal detects the approval automatically and completes the connection.
For guests, that’s one less code to wait for and copy across. Your existing login method stays available as a fallback, so anyone who prefers it, or doesn’t use WhatsApp, can still connect the usual way.
It’s worth knowing what this flow captures before you turn it on. WhatsApp sign-in collects the guest’s phone number only. It doesn’t collect a name, email address, or marketing opt-in, so if those fields matter for your campaigns, keep a login method that captures them available alongside it.
WhatsApp sign-in requires venue configuration. Contact Aislelabs and we’ll help you get started.

New: Show Captive Portals in Each Guest’s Language
Aislelabs Connect can now detect a guest’s preferred language and show the captive portal in that language automatically, so guests don’t have to find and pick a language themselves.
When a guest opens the portal, Aislelabs reads the language setting from their device or browser and shows the matching version of the page. If the portal doesn’t have that language set up, guests see the portal’s default language instead. Where a language selector is enabled, guests can still switch languages manually.
For venues with a lot of international visitors, like airports and shopping centers, this makes sign-in more welcoming from the first screen. It also helps guests who can’t read your default language get connected without giving up partway through.
Language versions need to be set up in the Portal Editor before they can be detected. Contact Aislelabs and we’ll help you get started.
New: Compare Traffic Across Two Time Periods
A new Comparison page in Flow AI Insights puts two reporting periods side by side in a single view. You can compare a site’s traffic against the previous period, the same dates last year, or a custom reference period of your choosing.
That makes it much quicker to answer questions like “was this month busier than last month?” or “how did this year’s holiday weekend compare to last year’s?” without pulling two separate reports and lining them up yourself.
Historical comparisons depend on the data available for the site, so a site that was added recently will have a shorter look-back window. Access to the Comparison page needs to be enabled for each user.

Improved: Review Access-Point Details in a Searchable Table
A new In-Use Sensors table now sits beneath the Sensor Health map, giving you a detailed view of every access point on the selected floor.
For each access point you can see its name and identifier, the manufacturer where it’s recognized, its Up or Down status, the last time it sent data, and data-volume details showing hourly activity over the previous 24 hours. The table supports searching, sorting, and pagination, and you can export it to CSV to share with your network team or IT partner.
Access requires the Data Health and Sensor Health permissions.
Improved: Locate Access-Point Issues on a Floor Map
Sensor Health now shows your access points in their physical locations on the floor map, with green and red indicators for Up and Down. When an access point goes down, you can see exactly where it is rather than matching a device ID against a spreadsheet.
Selecting an access point shows its name, original identifier, status, and last-seen time. In multi-floor properties, floor selection lets your team zero in on the affected area quickly.
Status reflects the evaluation time shown on the page, which is typically about 45 to 60 minutes behind the current time. Availability depends on your integration providing access-point-level data.
Improved: Bring Legacy Flow History Into Flow AI
Moving to Flow AI no longer has to mean starting your reporting history from scratch. Historical-data backfill now supports bringing available Legacy Flow metrics into Flow AI, so you can keep reporting continuity after migration.
Site, zone, and area mappings connect your historical results to the right locations in Flow AI, so last year’s numbers line up with this year’s structure.
The history available depends on the source data, the mappings you configure, and the metrics enabled for your account. Our team can help you prepare and validate the migration.
